Special Weather Statement issued for Southern Ontario

GTA can expect rainfall amounts of 15-40 mm in most places.

Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement for most of Southern Ontario including the Greater Toronto Area.  A low pressure system is expected to slowly move across the Great Lakes from the southwest bringing rain to Southern Ontario for the next few days.

The Golden Horseshoe and Central Ontario will receive the bulk of the rain on Tuesday.

Rainfall amounts of 15-40 mm are expected in most places with higher amounts possible locally.
