A pedestrian was rushed to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Caledon, Tuesday night.
Police are also searching for the driver of that vehicle, that took off after the incident on Torbram Road, south of King Street. It was around 10 p.m. when police were called.
An Ornge air ambulance was dispatched to the scene, but was unable to fly due to weather conditions.
The victim was rushed to Brampton Civic Hospital with serious injuries, and may be taken to Sunnybrook in Toronto.
Police say it's possible that the vehicle in question was a pick-up truck, but there's no description available. No details about the victim's gender or identity have been released.
