Man injured after bus collides with Jeep

Intersection closed for several hours

A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after his Jeep was t-boned by a party bus in the city’s west end Sunday.

The collision happened around 12:30 a.m. at Finch and Islington avenues.

Paramedics said it took about 40 minutes to free the man from his vehicle. He was then taken to hospital with serious injuries.

No one on the bus appears to have been injured.

The intersection was shut down for several hours as police investigated the crash. It reopened around 6:30 a.m.

    Guess it's not TTC, Metrolinx, or a public transit vehicle (not even a Greyhound or Double Deck Coach USA. Why not tell us it's a "Party Bus"....so which Party? Ford, Chow, Tory,....
