Male pedestrian struck and killed on Queen St. East

Man in his sixties was hit when vehicle jumped the sidewalk

A male pedestrian in his sixties was struck and killed on Queen Street East around 1:30 Monday morning.

He was pronounced dead in hospital after an east-bound vehicle jumped the sidewalk and hit him near Parliament.

The man had been standing outside with another man, when it happened. The other man suffered minor injuries

Police are investigating and say the driver is co-operating with their investigation.
