Mississauga man caught driving 141 km/h in a 50 km/h zone

The driver has been charged with stunt driving and his car was impounded for a week

A 25-year-old Mississauga man has been charged with stunt driving in Caledon.

Police were conducting speed enforcement at the intersection of Hwy 10 and Mistywood Dr Sunday morning when they say a Honda Fit was seen going at a high rate of speed.

OPP say the driver was going 141 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

Jayanand Bharose was charged with racing a motor vehicle. The car was impounded for seven days.

He is scheduled to appear in court on September 29th.
