Police looking for suspect in early morning sex assault
Woman was sexually assualted while out for a run

Toronto police are asking for information after a runner was sexually assaulted early Thursday morning.

At approximately 2 a.m., an 18-year old woman was out for a run in the MacDonald Avenue and Pine Street area.

Police say a man approached her from behind and knocked her to the ground.

He then sexually assaulted her.

A person who was nearby came to her aid and called police.

The suspect is described as brown, in his mid-20s, approximately five-foot-six, with slicked-back black hair.

He was last seen wearing a v-neck T-shirt, dark jeans and a chain-like necklace.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-7474 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
