Off-Duty Brantford police officer charged with impaired driving

passenger suffered life-threatening injuries

An off-duty police officer in Brantford has been charged with impaired driving after a man suffered life-threatening injuries falling from a Jeep early Monday in Hamilton.

The 33-year-old officer was taken to a Hamilton police station and arrested for a breath test.

Constable Ryan Grant has since been charged with Impaired Operation causing bodily harm.
