Crews battle 2-alarm fire in Kensington Market

One person was sent to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation

Toronto firefighters were called to a semi-detached building in Kensington Market, Tuesday morning.

Around 6 a.m., crews arrived at the building on Kensington Avenue, near Spadina and Dundas. It houses both a business and residences.

Residents managed to evacuate the building safely by 6:30 a.m.

One person was taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
