A plane participating in the Canadian International Air Show has crashed just off a runway at Pearson Airport.

Peel Police say the landing gear on the aircraft collapsed. The small plane is now resting in a ditch just off a runway. Though teams from the fire department and EMS rushed to the scene, there was no fire and police say no one is hurt.

There were at least two pilots on board.

The airshow runs August 30-September 1 at the Canadian National Exhibition.
