St Catharines patient does not have Ebola

Person showed flu-like symptoms after travelling to West Africa...

A patient who was a possible case of Ebola in St Catharines, does not have the virus.

The Niagara Health System reporting on Friday, that tests on the patient have come back negative for the potentially fatal virus.

The person had just returned from the heart of the Ebola outbreak in West Africa, when they started showing flu-like symptoms.

All along, officials called it a 'low risk' situation.

This was just one of a few Ebola scares in this country, with another in Brampton and one in Montreal both testing negative for the virus.
