Body found in Whitby

A body was found by a passerby walking in outside a series of apartments in the White Oaks Court and Dundas West area of Whitby.

The body was found in a grassy area outside the complex just before 10am Thursday morning.

Police haven't yet identified the body, but police confirm its a woman in her 40s.

Homicide has been called to investigate what police are deeming a "suspecious" death, but couldn't confirm if foul play is invovled.
