TTC workers are set to fight back after a weekend of reprimand from their boss amid recent customer service squabbles. It seems transit workers are set to launch a work-to-rule campaign beginning Monday.

Rumors of the job-action began after a new Facebook page surfaced titled “Toronto Transit Operators against public harassment”. On the page, workers have been posting their own photos of rider indiscretions, after recent images of employees sleeping on the job and stopping for coffee sparked an outrage among customers.
Union president Bob Kinnear, tells NewsTalk 1010 the union is not supporting a work-to-rule campaign even though he understands the frustration that his workers are facing.
In a memo sent to all 12,000 transit employees Saturday, TTC Chief General Manager Gary Webster, told workers he's "becoming increasingly tired of defending the reputation of the TTC; tired of explaining what is acceptable and what is not".
TTC Chair Adam Giambrone told the Globe and Mail, Commission staff will report on the start of a plan to address the customer service issues expected to be announced February 17th.
Kinnear says the union will hold a news conference on Tuesday morning to address the issues that his members have been facing.
