Not Guilty Pleas in Creba Case

The final trial in the Jane Creba murder began Monday. Tyshaun Barnett and Louis Woodcock each face a charge of second-degree murder, as as well as four counts of aggravated assault and one count attempted murder. 15 year-old Creba was shot and killed while Boxing Day shopping on Yonge Street in 2005.
Both Bernett and Woodcock plead not guilty to all charges.
Listen to Newstalk 1010's Katie Franzios' report.
Both stared blankly ahead as they looked at photo after photo of bullet fragments and chase spread across Yonge Street. Crown Attorney Maurice Gillezeau alleges Barnett and Woodcock were both involved in the shootout that boxing day, stating Woodcock's DNA was found on the gun Jorrell Simpson-Rowe had on him when arrested. Simpson-Rowe was found guilty of second degree murder last year.
If convicted, the pair could face life sentences.
