SIU Releases Name Of Man Suspected Of Killing OPP Officer

The Special Investigations Unit says a man involved in a confrontation that saw an O-P-P officer shot and killed is a 70-year-old from Burk's Falls.

The S-I-U says Fred Preston remains in critical condition at a London hospital.

Constable Vu Pham was shot and killed Monday morning northwest of London.

The S-I-U says six investigators and three forensic investigators are investigating, and that three witness officers and one subject officer have been designated.
