Fatal East End Shooting

A 33-year-old man is dead following a shooting in the city's east end.

It happened around 10 p.m. Thursday, in the Lawrence Avenue East and Kingston Road area at an apartment building.

Police were called to 4010 Lawrence Ave. E. after the man's body was discovered in the hallway of the building.

Police will not confirm the extent of the man's injuries only saying there was apparent trauma to his body.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who was in the area between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

This is Toronto's 10th murder of 2010.
