    Deb Matthews can not rule. Jerry do you not know how government works? Do you want the justice minister charging and dismissing crime. We have a system, its not perfect, but like democracy and capitalism it is the best we have. What pray tell Jerry is your alternative? What better system do you propose. Surely not the monster of immorality that is US health care.

    Looking at the CIA report for 2012 for infant mortality I see Cuba has a better rate than Canada, so Jerry must be proposing that a change for the better would be the Cuban system? In the USA they are one full child per thousand behind Cuba, so there is no way a logical person would be advocating for private health care.

    Part of the reason Liam is even in this discussion is the super pre natal care that premy babies receive in Canada.

    In profiling this story I got a call from Al who doesn't care about Liam because, "He will only have light sensitivity anyway, not actual sight." And we have seen from SteveB that it is way more important to him to hate me than it is to care about Liam.

    But I know that caring people will demand that OHIP step up and the do the job they claim to be able - and have the exclusive right - to do.

      @Jerry Agar Also Jerry good on you for bringing this issue to light, shame on you for attempting to impose US style political interference in the Health care system. Your attempt to bully Deb Matthews is completely counter productiive, because if she does change her mind now it telegraphs to the citizens that the system is political, and then all hell breaks loose.

    Sure go ahead and let OHIP pay after all it may work or it may not, but its worth a try. BTW did see mention in the blog what the chance of success for the operation is.

    Now lets suppose little Liam was oh lets say a 16 year old convicted under the young offenders act of rape or senario two and adult convicted of the same crime. Both have will be eventually let out of prison, both have the same condition as Liam has now and both have the same chance of help from Detriot except OHIP won't pay as is now the case.

    Tell me Jerry are you going to up on the soapbox shouting for them to have the operation as well?

    Hello Jerry,


    I heard you on your show this a.m. and I agree that OHIP should do something to finance this little boy's eye operation. Ideally out of compassion but if not, because it's going to cost our health system way more down the road.
    But we can't just wait while this little boy goes blind. If you have a fund raiser I am willing to give $1000 for his operation. Let's do it. I'm not good at organising things but you can do it on the radio.

      @Françoise Léon Your a person of action and I salute you. Jerry could have taken the high road on this, and you have offered him another chance to de politic this and just get that poor boy his treatment. So come on Jerry join the light side.

      I know you may lose some cred with with the c conservatives for solving a problem instead of letting Deb Mattews hang in the wind.

    Jerry you have insulted my honour, yes spelled with a U. So I challange you to an on air debate. Not one where as usual when your losing you hit the delete button, no a moderated debate on the three issues you spread disinformation about.

    Even in the US your overheated rhetoric was rejected by the free market. I hope in Canada I can send you back to the US which you always support.

    So here are the issues that you are constantly wrong wrong wrong on. Three issues, three wrongs.

    single payer health care
    global warming
    private ownership of utiites

    So I have kicked your butt all over this blog, are you ,man enough to face me on the air. With your decades of experience and my zero time in the arena, it should be a challange you could not refuse unless you look in the mirror every ,morning and say I am, a phony/

      @SteveB_10 Now I am not blaming Jerry, no way he is such a coward. But I can not comment any more, just hit replys.

      Of course this would be consistent with right wing media, no criticizes in the comments unless its idiotic. Sure they will let the worst spokespeople in the world have all the time, but someone who can make them look like fools, censored big time.

      I expect my IPS will no longer work on this site by the morrow, and thats victory for me, but a usual win for the forces of disinformation,
