When did we lose the belief that we have to look after ourselves?

I bet you can’t count the number of times you have heard someone brag about how their family came to this country with nothing, never asked for a dime, worked their immigrant butts off to make something of themselves. Or it’s a single mom working, raising kids, putting them through university. Sometimes there are tears of pride, and deservedly so.

We don’t want to do that anymore.

Now we want someone else to pick up the slack created by the unequal weight of our pull on the desire end of the rope versus the accountability end.

    this is the problem with us Canadians!!!! We let americans come here and try to tell us what to do!!!!
    If jerry loves american way of living why did he hold on to our citizenship??? because he was enjoying our healthcare and now he trashes our way of living. Jerry, get your American Racist ass out of our beautiful country!!! You have no Canadian Values in you!!!!

I'm sure most Canadians that live in US don't trash our way of living. Its people like Jerry who can't accept truth and say stupid thing on his radio because he own the mike for 3 hrs a day. This Jerry doesn't get along with any of his college because he has such a radical US right wing policies. Ryan of Friendly Fire is an American but he never acts like Jerry, guess because he grew up in Canada and enjoys our culture, Jerry on the other hand is a shame to Canada

I have mentioned Ryan Doyle as an example, he supports the conservatives but if he thinks they are being idiots, he has the balls to call them out! John Tory is a great example of a good conservative! But Jerry is a Moron, he hasn't changed since his days at FOX. Creating hate between parties, communities and people! Always bringing facts from his rear end. A sh*t talking, war loving racist!!! That is not Canadian value. Here is another problem, the people in the left when they see somthing wrong they will admit it and try to change it but the people in the right just don't want to be wrong, so even if they screw up they try to cover up! And they have idiots like Jerry to do their dirty jobs, however it's not going to work because we are smarter than Sara Palin loving worthless Americans!!! Wonder why Jerry left the America that he loves so much!!!

Perhaps the Manitoban borned and raised Jerry Agar came to Ontario for a job (like Moore, Ryan and Downs - what a concept). His experiences state side enables him to provide another pov.
