This column had been up for minutesa and the hate had already mounted. That is a good thing. Talk about it.

But don't be a goof, like this guy on the Toronto Sun web site. "At least The SUN put this one under the opinion category where it belongs."

Congratulations Sherlock, you figured out what a column is.

 

Ford just gets the job done.

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford is the Tim Tebow of politics.

Like Tebow, Ford gets results but he doesn’t get the mechanics exactly right. He isn’t the smooth operator the “experts” want to see.

    I don't think it matters as his personal life is not the public's business! There are many rumors that he smokes pot/hash everyday and uses cocaine. Can anyone confirm this? Supposedly 100's of people know this. Maybe this explains his wacky behavior? As long as he continues to do a good job, who cares what he does on his own time.

    Like Ford more than Agar...

    Ford needs some refining for sure. Nothing wrong with trying to tackle waste issues within our city. I think that should be his strength. But a bigger vision and looking forward? No he doesn't have that. And he wastes too much time sweating the little things like his football team, being driven to work, and phoning every complainer back.

    Wow Jerry, you seem to have as many HATERS as Mayor Ford does in the GTA Sure hope you don't let that sway you or the Mayor at all from your mission, focus, message, brand or opinions in the future! Both of you have a strong support base, which makes for great debate, controversy and endless entertainment. Your Tebow comparison was a great foil to lure all the trolls and lurkers out of hiding thus giving you even more fodder for future shows & columns. Verrrry Cleverrrr!!!

    Layoff the 30,000 Ontario government Managers? Absolutely. This wasteful, inoompetent government and its continuous track record of government mismanagement has hired over 600,000 ontario government unions and bureaucrats..Increase my taxes... John Tory ? No thank you...I am a PC supporter and never voted for Tory who really a tax and spend Liberal. For a millionaire, he certainly does not understand that the average Toronto family living in the city of Toronto cannot pay more taxes. I don't care what John Tory, or Metrolinx or that incompetent Karen Stintz says. We have the money and we are wasting it on bloated government in Ontario.
