This is what you get when you live in a "politically correct" world. Spoiled youth who are protected from discipline, who don't suffer consequences for their bad behaviour and who are treated by royalty by their parents. It will only get worse. I am in my 40's and I see bullying every day, on public transit, in the workplace, in the stores. There is no point establishing bullying programs in schools when parents and bystanders in society let people away with it. Bring back the strap!!!

Before you all criticize me about the "strap" comment, I only said it in jest, so calm down. I don't believe in physical violence. Let's hear your comments/ideas.

@HayleyP Actually, I was going to agree with it. Our kids need discipline, after all.

Hello Jerry...looks as though that bus monitor may just get the last laugh on those dreadful 'children'.

I think they should punish the parents and the kids. The kids should go through the "Scared Straight" program and do community service along with the parents.
    This should not be tolerated!

Jerry, public sector unions are completely out of control. They now seem to simply be a means to extort (sometimes with threat of violence) far more money for a task performed (or possibly not performed). It's been this way for a long time. An acquaintance of mine was contracted by the Ministry of Health to examine the hospital in Red Lake...they felt certain things were 'suspect'. She was threatened in a variety of ways, including having dead animals left in her locker at work. It got to the point she was afraid to leave to back to Toronto on the weekends without her dog for fear that it would be dead or missing when she returned. Eventually, the thugs got what they wanted...she quit. I suspect the same BS that was going on then is still going on now.

I find it interesting that the government has rules about monopolistic corporations, and will prevent mergers and acquisitions if they feel it will lead to a monopoly. However, when unions can basically impose a monopoly on the public, the government is silent.

It is heartbreaking to see and hear how children can be so cruel. It is beyond me how we as a society can tolerate such behaviour. I completely agree - we have become this "politically correct society". Where we are so understanding, accepting and justify such beheviour.

Oh My God......can you believe that kids even get away with talking to their elders this way???? I'm also in my 40's and if we had EVER spoken to an adult that way......Lets put it this way, it wouldnt be a bloody IPHONE i would be getting.
I COMPLETELY BLAME THE PARENTS...............most of them are still bloody kids themselves and have no discipline or control over their kids.
I could go on, but I'm guessing the majority of GROWN UP's would probably agree that this kid control crap has to change!!!!
