JOHN MOORE

Goodbye and thanks for all the fish

I'm gone for the next week. You will be in the capable hands of Ted Woloshyn. And for those who worry more about Zack than about me, he'll be fine. He gets to stay home with the sitter. He probably won't even notice for a few days. That's a terrier for you.

Now, for those of you who asked questions about that bike I was riding at the Ride for Heart. It was a spectacular ride. It's like flying. Yesterday I rode it back to Mimico to return it to Julien Papon and it's the first time I've ever had people at stop lights say "kick ass bike man". And one guy even knew that at 13 pounds it's too light for The Tour de France.

The bike is number 0-01 in a limited series of 7. For hard core types it has a THM Carbones Clavicula crankset, Ceramic and Teflon treated chain and Dura-Ace Di2 controls (I have no idea what half of this means).

To buy it, you have to already be a Vitess owner. And yes, Julien confirms it sells for $25K.

It's more than a bike line, I think it's a cult. If you want to know more check out the website here.

Talk in a week. Make the most of it. June only comes once a year.

John that tagline is totally inappropriate for a vacation. Its weight indicates you have left permanently.

As for the bike, I am curious could a casual bike rider control the beast? Or is it like the guy who wins the lottery buys a Ferrari and wraps it around a pole on the first corner?

Have a great holiday, look forward to your return, will miss you in the morning.

    Steve
