Bikes, cars, motorcycles, idiots
One of the silliest debates we keep getting into (and I never start it) is who is worse on Toronto streets and highways; cyclists, motorcyclists, truckers or motorists. Oh, and pedestrians. My position is that everyone breaks the rules but some end up being blamed more than others. You almost get your foot run over by a car turning right and that car is driven by a moron. You see a cyclist riding on the sidewalk and ALL cyclists are jackass scofflaws.
As evidence of just how awful pretty well every body in motion is I offer a series of videos which you can find here. These are shot with a mounted camera in the car of a listener to Moore in the Morning named Rob MacLennan. As a hobby he edits together highlights of the follies he has witnessed behind the wheel. I have to say, of them all I think I like best the guy in the most recently shot video who makes three turns in order to go through a red light and pretend it's all legal.
Enjoy.
