Is space cool again?

Boy did we tap into the right guy when we started holding regular conversations with Christ Hadfield a year ago. The Commanded of the International Space Station is turning into the coolest guy in outer space. Just think of the planning involved to sport a green shirt, vest and bow tie for St Patrick's Day. He didn't just hit the store around the corner a few days ahead of time.

Excited listeners wrote in this morning with details on how you can track where the Space station is. You can follow it in real time here and even file a request to be alerted the next time it flies over you. Paul wrote in to say he and his brother got out of their car in Brantford this morning and actually saw the station pass over head. "We shouted and waved to Chris Hadfield. I doubt he heard us but maybe he sort of "knew". Pass this on so he can really feel the love".

Can't wait for Chris to be back on earth. Space hasn't been this cool in years.

Oh and...had to share this snap of a friend of mine celebrating St Patrick's Day in Hudson Quebec. As I observed on the show: never do so many people make so many bad choices before 5PM.
