Jim, normally I agree (somewhat, I think) with you and today I was yelling at my radio. This legallizing Pot issue puts my blood pressure through the roof. I have a rental home and rented to a gentleman who never discusssed his use of pot with me when he rented the house (naturally). He had a license to grow medical marijuana and according to Health Canada, as long as he resides on the premises with the license, he does not have to inform the owner of the property. Needless to say, he caused a fire by using inferior extention cords and caused $60,000 damage which the insurance company would not cover because it was a grow op (legal or illegal, doesn't matter). We are now in court being charged with allowing this man to use the premises for something other than it was meant for, tampering with the electrical and tampering with the furnace and he removed the smoke detectors so we got charged with that too. He has subsequently moved on and we are left holding the bag. Should it be legal? No!!!! Not in my eyes.
