NEWSTALK 1010’S ESCAPE TO CANADA Contest Rules

1. When is the contest – The contest begins on May 19, 2026 at 6:00 AM ET and ends on June 5, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (“Contest Period”).

2. Contest administration – This contest is organized and managed by Bell Media Inc. (“we”). We aim to ensure the contest is fair for all entrants and operates as intended. If unforeseen circumstances, regardless of the cause, prevent the contest from operating as planned, we reserve the right to take any necessary action. This includes voiding entries, cancelling, suspending, ending, or extending the contest, or modifying these rules, even after the contest has begun. If any part of these rules is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. All entries become our property.

3. Who can enter – To enter, you must be an individual residing in Ontario, Canada and be at least 18 years old.

4. Who cannot enter – Our employees, along with their immediate family members (parents, siblings, children, and spouses) and household members, are not eligible to enter. Employees of our affiliates, agents, representatives, the sponsor(s) and prize provider(s), our advertising agencies, and any other entity involved in the operation or fulfillment of this contest are also ineligible, as are their immediate family and household members.

5. Agreement to rules – By entering the contest, you agree to abide by these rules and accept our decisions, which are final and binding. In the event of any discrepancy between these rules and other contest-related communications (such as entry forms or advertising), these rules will take precedence.

6. Personal information – We collect and use your personal information to administer the contest and award prizes. We may share this information with sponsor(s) and prize provider(s) for contest administration and prize fulfillment purposes only. Our use of your personal information will comply with Bell Media’s Privacy Policy, available at bell.ca/privacy. The privacy policies of sponsor(s) and prize provider(s) may also apply. We will not sell or otherwise disclose your personal information to unrelated third parties. By accepting a prize, you authorize us to use your name, city/province of residence, photograph, likeness, voice, and other identifying characteristics in connection with promotional materials, in any format or media, without geographical or time limitation, and without additional compensation.

7. How to enter – No purchase necessary. Listen to NEWSTALK 1010 for a unique keyword announced every weekday of the Contest Period between 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM, and 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM ET. Then, on the same day before 11:59 PM ET, go on the contest web page at NEWSTALK1010.com and fill out the form as instructed, including the keyword. Bonus keywords will also be announced via NEWSTALK 1010’s X account, and the NEWSTALK 1010 Newsletter. You will get one entry per keyword. Limit of 6 entries per day. For listeners with a disability, the keyword will be announced in closed captioning.

8. Prizes – In total, there are three (3) Prizes to be won. Each prize consists of a $2,000.00 CAD Tripcentral.ca travel voucher, and a $1,000.00 CAD cheque, with an approximate value of $3,000.00 CAD. Each Prize consists of a Tripcentral.ca Travel Voucher in the amount of two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) CAD. Voucher is subject to the terms and conditions of the issuing company. Tripcentral.ca travel voucher is valid for travel to be completed by June 12, 2027, expiry date will not be extended. Voucher is valid for a one time use towards any product sold on the tripcentral.ca website including vacation packages, cruises, tours, flights, insurance and tax. Any residual amounts will not be converted in a new voucher or redeemable for cash and will automatically be forfeited. Vouchers cannot be used towards service fees. Vouchers can be used towards new bookings only. Existing bookings may not have vouchers applied to them. Once the voucher is redeemed it is 100% non-refundable and changes are not permitted. Prize winner and their travel guest are solely responsible for all costs not expressly described herein, including, without limitation, as applicable, any other transportation, accommodation, taxes, fuel/currency surcharges, meals and beverages, room service, gratuities, merchandise, telephone calls, insurance, any required travel documentation, all personal expenses of any kind or nature, and any overnight layover. Departure dates are subject to availability and change without notice or compensation. Prize winner and their travel guest are also solely responsible for all costs incurred to and from the Departure Point as the Prize originates and terminates there. It is the sole responsibility of the Prize winner and their travel guest to obtain all necessary travel documentation including passports and visas, and to comply with any customs and immigration requirements, as applicable. The Prize winner and their travel guest: (i) must be able to travel within a one year window from the time they win a Prize. Prize Winner and guest must each have proof of valid travel documents prior to ticketing; must be Canadian residents to qualify for a Prize and must have the right to enter destination they book through Tripcentral.ca. It is recommended that the Prize winner and their travel guest obtain sufficient personal insurance prior to their departure. The Prize winner and the travel guest are solely responsible for insurance (including medical coverage) and for compliance with any health notices/advisories, including but not limited to the Government of Canada notices such as Travel.gc.ca - Home. Prize winner and travel guest must comply with all applicable, relevant government issued notices, guidelines and policies, namely, all COVID-19 related notices, guidelines, and policies. Travel is subject to availability. Any lost or stolen travel vouchers or certificates will not be replaced or refunded. All airline tickets are subject to flight variations, work stoppage, and schedule or route changes. Approximate retail value of each voucher is two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) CAD based on a Toronto departure. No change in travel arrangements can be made by the Prize winner once their booking has been confirmed. The Prize may not be used towards any type of frequent flyer mileage or other reward point accumulation program. The travel guest must be eighteen (18) years of age or older in order to participate in the Prize. Before being able to participate in a Prize, the travel guest will be required to sign and return within the time stipulated by the Contest Sponsor, a full release and indemnity form stating that, among other things, they have read, understood and complied with these Rules, grants all consents required, agrees to be available and to participate in publicity and/or promotions related to the Contest and/or the Contest Sponsor and/or similar matters, authorizes the Contest Sponsor to broadcast, publish, disseminate and otherwise use their name, city/town/village and province/territory of residence, photograph, likeness, sobriquet and voice, in connection with any promotion and/or publicity, and/or for general news, entertainment and/or information purposes at no additional compensation to the travel guest, beyond their participation in the Prize, accepts the Prize as offered and releases the Contest Sponsor from any and all liability of any kind arising out of the travel guest’s participation in this Contest and receipt and use of the Prize.

9. How winning entries are selected – We will hold random draws on May 25, 2026, June 1, 2026, and June 8, 2026 around 7:00 AM ET at our offices in Toronto, Ontario from among all entries received up until the time of the random draw. If your entry is drawn, we will contact you using the information you provided, and we must reach you within 5 business days of the draw.

10. How potential winners are notified – We will attempt to contact potential winners within five business days of the entry selection date, using the contact details provided or the account used to enter the contest. To be declared a winner, you must be contactable and fulfill the following requirements:

1. Answer a mathematical skill-testing question correctly, without assistance;

2. Complete, sign, and return the release form; and

3. Upon request, provide valid proof of identification and proof of account ownership.

11. Acceptance of prize – Prizes must be accepted as awarded, are non-transferable, and cannot be converted to cash. Once a prize is awarded, you assume all responsibility and risk associated with it, such as compliance with any instructions, conditions of use, and all costs not expressly included. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to substitute a prize, in whole or in part, with one of equal or greater value and quality if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. Limit one prize per household. Actual prizes may differ from those shown in advertising.

12. Chances of winning – The chances of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received and the number of prizes.

13. Account holder – When you enter the contest through an account (for example, email, text message, or social media), the entry will be attributed to the account holder. We may require proof, to our satisfaction, that you are the account holder. You may not enter using more than one account, and entries from multiple accounts may be disqualified.

14. Submissions – All content you submit must be original and respect the intellectual property and privacy rights of others. You must not submit content that infringes third-party rights or that is defamatory or obscene. We may require you to provide proof that your content is original and that you have permission from everyone depicted or named in the content. While you retain ownership of your content, you authorize us to use it, in whole or in part, for contest purposes, including communication on air or online.

15. Time – All time references are based on timestamps from our servers or related timekeeping systems. The eligibility of entries is therefore determined by when we receive them, not when you send them. Broadcast delays may occur depending on the method used to listen to the radio, such as analog radio compared to online streaming.

16. Disqualification of non-compliant entries – We may, in our discretion, disqualify any of your entries if you do not follow these rules, or for any other reason to ensure the contest is fair. Examples of reasons for disqualification include:

• You enter more times than permitted;

• Your entry is not received in time;

• You provide false information (for example, fake names or contact details you do not hold);

• You disrupt the contest or its website, including with programs, macros, or AI;

• Your entry is incomplete, ineligible, or has been tampered with;

• Your entry is not original or uses someone else’s intellectual property;

• Your entry contains negative, obscene, offensive, or disparaging content.

17. Disqualification of potential winners – Even though your entry was selected, we may disqualify you and may, at our discretion, select another entry if:

• You do not respond to our attempts to communicate with you, for example, if your account settings prevent us from reaching you;

• You did not correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question;

• You did not complete, sign, or return the release form within five (5) days;

• You or anyone in your household won a prize from any contest managed by Bell Media Inc. during the 30 days preceding the entry selection date of this contest.

If we are unsuccessful in contacting you, we are not required to select other entries after June 15, 2026, and the number of prizes awarded may be less than the total number of prizes.

18. Winner’s conduct – All prize winners (and their guests, if applicable) must conduct themselves responsibly. We may disqualify a winner if their actions, past or present, are offensive, result in criminal charges or conviction, create public scandal or ridicule, cause or are likely to cause us reputational harm, or disparage our products or services. Disqualification will result in forfeiture of the prize, and no alternative will be provided.

19. Social media (when applicable) – This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), or TikTok (collectively, the “Platforms”). You provide information to us, not to the Platforms. By entering, you fully release each Platform and its owners from all liability related to this contest. Direct any questions, comments, or complaints about this contest to us, not the Platforms. Your entry must comply with the relevant Platform’s terms and community guidelines. Specifically: (a) if entering on Instagram, do not inaccurately tag content (for example, by tagging people not in a photo); and (b) if entering on X, do not create multiple accounts or post duplicate content. We reserve the right to remove any entry that violates these terms or any Platform’s guidelines, which may result in disqualification, at our sole discretion.

20. No liability – We, as well as the sponsor(s) and the prize provider(s), are not liable to you or anyone for any damage relating to this contest, including but not limited to: (a) any lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, damaged, destroyed, deleted, or misdirected entries, regardless of the cause or whether it is within our control; (b) any malfunction of your equipment or ours, communication connections, or our website; (c) any human or technical error, or negligence; (d) any delay in broadcast, whether caused by us or by your method of listening; and (e) any loss, injury, or damage arising from your participation in this contest or from the prize.
