Donald Trump threatened to not open the Gordie Howe Bridge between Detroit and Windsor. He says Canada has been unfair to the US for a long time, and until the US is fully compensated, he won't open the bridge.
Prime Minister Carney called Trump the next day to tell him why it's of mutual benefit to both countries.
Was Trump's threat a communications Touchdown or Fumble?
Did it once again put him at the forefront of Canada-US relations, with the free trade negotiations looming on the horizon? If you thought that worked for Donald Trump, VOTE TOUCHDOWN.
Or if you think it's more baseless bluster - maybe the distraction of the moment, not anything serious - from Donald Trump, VOTE FUMBLE.
We'll see what Bob Reid of Broadway Strategy thinks when he joins me at 11:50 for this week's edition of Touchdowns & Fumbles. We'll have your vote results at that time as well.
