Toronto Police are investigating after a child was struck while crossing the road.
The boy, who is about 10-years-old, was struck in the Dundas and Berkeley area, just before 4 o'clock.
He was sent to hospital with serious head injuries. He was found conscious and breathing.
The driver of the vehicle, reportedly a sedan, remained at the scene.
Police say it's too early to tell if the boy was jay-walking, but it appears to have happened just east of Berkeley on Dundas.
