A 15-year-old who was shot during a police interaction at a plaza in Mississauga in July has died.
The incident occured at Credit Valley Town plaza at around 2 a.m. A Peel Region police officer shot the boy while responding to a call for a robbery at a gas station in the plaza.
The Special Investigations Unit is continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident, which happened around 2:00 a.m. at a plaza at Creditview Road and Britannia Road in Mississauga.
The SIU is not releasing the name of the young male.
Six investigators and two forensic investigators have been assigned to investigate this incident.
