Police officers in York Region charged 15 drivers with Stunt Driving and Speeding over a 4-day span last week.
Authorities say the charges were laid between Thursday and Sunday.
In one case, York Regional Police say cops clocked a vehicle the area of Rutherford Rd. and McGillivary going 127km/h in a 60km/h zone.
Officers found 3 passengers in the vehicle -- a woman and 3 children -- were not wearing seatbelts.
The driver was charged with Stunt Driving, Speeding and seatbelt-related offences.
His licence was suspended and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
On Sunday evening, a vehicle was stopped in Vaughan at Rutherford Rd. and Simmons St. after going 118 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.
The driver had only had his license back for six days after a previous Stunt Driving suspension.
He was charged with Stunt Driving and Speeding, and had his licence suspended and his vehicle was impounded for a week.
