The gun violence in Toronto and the GTA continues to dominate the headlines.
Two more shootings overnight Saturday, left one person with serious injuries.
That shooting occurred on the Danforth in the heart of Greektown.
A 16-year-old male was shot near Strathmore Blvd. and Donlands Avenue at around 12:30 a.m.
He suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
But Toronto Police Constable Scott Mills told NEWSTALK1010 Sunday morning that police made an arrest nearby, which may or may not be connected to the shooting.
"They also located nearby another youth that had a fire arm in his possession. He was arrested and the firearm was seized."
Police also responded to another shooting in the north end of the city, at Markham Road and Eglinton Avenue, where six or 7 shell casings were found.
But, police did not find any victims.
