Toronto police have received judicial authorization to release the identity of a young person wanted in a double murder investigation.
Keyshawn Jones, who is just 16 years of age, is wanted in connection with the shooting death of two men near the Cube nightclub in the Queen Street West and Peter Street area on June 30th.
The two men shot, 21 year old Ahvante Smart of Toronto and 28 year old Ernest Modekwe also of Toronto, both died of their injuries after being shot outside the club on a busy Saturday night in the area.
A third person, a woman, was injured, but is expected to make a full recovery.
Jones is wanted for two counts of First-Degree murder and one count of Attempted murder.
A warrant has already been issued for a second suspect in the case, 22 year old Abdulkadir Handule of Toronto, who is also wanted for two counts of First-Degree Murder and one count of Attempted Murder.
Police are asking anyone who may know the whereabouts of Jones to call 911.
The judicial authorization to name Jones expires on Tuesday, July 17th.
