An 18-year-old man has been arrested in what police east of Toronto are now treating as a homicide.
Durham Regional Police say they were called to a home in Oshawa on Wednesday evening where they found a 21-year-old man with obvious signs of trauma.
The man, identified as Ahmed Buttu, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His death marks Oshawa's second homicide of the year.
Police say the 18-year-old was arrested Thursday morning and charged with second-degree murder.
They say they do not believe the death was a random act.
