After months of investigation, Peel Police they've located the man who shot someone on a public transit bus in Brampton earlier this year.
18-year-old Daniel Larizza is from Brampton, but police found him in Toronto on Thursday. He's been charged with attempted murder, discharging a firearm with intent, possessing a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, and possessing a firearm contrary to a court order.
This comes after a shooting on March 5. Just before 6:30 p.m. that evening, there was a shooting in Brampton on a transit bus in the area of Dixie Road and Howden Boulevard.
Officers found a 60-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to hospital in non-life-threatening condition.
Police say it appears the two were not known to each other before the incident, and an argument may have ensued beforehand.
