An early morning 2-car collision in Brampton sent one person to hospital with injuries while the second driver simply fled the scene.
The accident occurred in the intersection of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Steeles Avenue West.
Emergency crews responded to the accident scene at around 1:49 a.m.
The driver of the car that remained on scene was transported to hospital with what are now being called non-life-threatening injuries.
Peel Police and the Major Collision Bureau began an investigation into the accident.
Const. Heather Cannon confirmed to NEWSTALK1010 that sometime later on Saturday morning,the Major Collision Bureau had found the vehicle that had fled.
"They located the driver and their vehicle. They are currentlly investigating the circumstances of this collision."
Cannon could not confirm where the car and driver were found or if any charges had been laid against the driver.
The intersection, which remained closed for hours during the investigation, has since reopened to traffic.
