A North Toronto neighbourhood was rocked with gun violence early Saturday morning.
According to Duty Inspector Norm Proctor, Toronto Police responded to a call for gunshots heard in a building at 65 Emmett Avenue, near Jane and Eglinton in the mount dennis neighbourhood, at around 1:30 a.m.
"Officers arrived, located two male adult victims outside of the building. One victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second victim was transported to a local trauma centre and was also pronounced deceased there."
Proctor also confirmed a possible third victim in the shooting managed to walk into a local hospital on their own.
"We believe this may be related, but that's under investigation at this time."
Proctor said that police will be looking into whether the apartment building near where the men were found has any surveillance cameras that may have offer clues as to what transpired.
He said that forensic officers will also be spending much of the morning combing the scene for evidence.
Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation.
