Toronto Police are on the scene of a double shooting in the city's West end.
Two men, believed to be in their 40's, were shot near a townhouse complex on Jamestown Crescent, in the Martin Grove and James Garland Blvd area. The call came in to police just after 7.
Spokesperson Katrina Arrogante told NEWSTALK1010 the shooting was first thought to have occurred in a school playground nearby, but later confirmed to be near a parking lot.
"Initial reports were that six to ten shots were heard in the location from numerous callers."
Arrogante added the men were found in two different areas of the parking lot with varying injuries.
"One male was located by EMS and Toronto Police with lower body injuries. He was found to be conscious and breathing at the time. Shortly after another male was located with apparent gunshot wounds to the upper body, multiple shots."
Both victims were taken to hospital.
Police and Forensics are currently on scene.
