Police in York Region have made an arrest in connection with a sex assault investigation.
On Thursday, authorities released video taken from a front yard in Aurora. It shows a man sneaking up on a woman from behind as she mows the lawn. The man can be seen forcing himself on her.
Authorities say tips from the public led them to make an arrest on Thursday evening. A 23 year-old man from Aurora is charged with sexual assault.
York Regional Police say due to the circumstances of the case, his name will not be released. The accused is expected to have his case go before the courts on Friday.
