Toronto Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a person of interest connected with the investigation of a fail-to-remain collision early Wednesday morning.
The collision occured just before 3 am at John Street and Stephanie Street.
Police allege a dark-coloured Jeep Wrangler was travelling north on John Street and while attempting to make a U-turn at Stephanie Street, the Jeep struck a black Honda pick-up truck.
The 39-year-old driver of the pick-up got into a heated exchange with the driver of the Jeep and other individuals. He was then robbed of his cellphone.
Police eventually tracked down the Jeep and released the identity of one of the suspects. 20-year-old Joseph Alarcon of Toronto, who is wanted for Dangerous Operation Causing Bodily Harm, Failing to Stop Causing Bodily Harm and Robbery.
They are now looking for a 2nd suspect, described as male wearing a T-shirt and long-sleeve sweater.
