A vigil will be held for three people killed in a head on collision in Brampton earlier this week.
24-year-old Brian McGinnis, his girlfriend 22-year-old Lauren Bouchard, and her sister, 16-year-old Michelle Bouchard were heading home from a Thanksgiving dinner when their car collided with a Trans Am near Bovaird and Gillingham drives.
Police say the Trans Am, driven by 49-year-old Calisto Mendonca, crossed the centre line and hit the Kia Soul McGinnis was driving.
Both vehicles burst into flames killing all four people.
Friends and Family spoke to the media Tuesday October 11th saying Brian McGinnis was a genuine person and he and his girlfriend Lauren Bouchard were a happy couple.
A GoFundMe page set up for the victims had raised over $11,000 as of Saturday afternoon.
McGinnis’ family is will host the vigil Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the site of accident.
