A woman in her 30s suffered serious, but non life-threatening injuries Friday in a hit-and-run in Mississauga, following two grave collisions in the Bloor Annex area and Scarborough the night before.
The latest incident happened at 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Thomas St. and Queen St.
The only details are that it was a van, the driver was a man and that there could be some damage to the front left side of the vehicle.
On Thursday, a man was killed after being hit by a vehicle - possibly a garbage truck - near Bathurst and Bloor.
A 67-year-old woman also suffered life-threatening injuries in Scarborough after a collision with what's believed to be a dark SUV at the intersection of Danforth Road and Warden Avenue.
Peel Regional Police Cst. Harinder Sohi is pleading with drivers to not flee.
"The best thing to do is to stay, let us investigate," he said. "Just because you're the driver, it's not always the driver's fault, I find sometimes drivers panic, they leave the scene, but you're just making it worse for yourself."
