2017 is a big year.
Not only is it the 150th birthday for Canada as a country, but it also marks the 80th birthday for Air Canada.
With that in mind, Air Canada is switching things up, giving their planes a facelift.
The company says in a release, the new look 'represents the strength of our nation and the future-looking spirit of our airline through distinct references to Canadian culture, heritage and evolution. From small regional airports to major international hubs, wherever we land, we fly the flag with care and class.'
"The new livery balances national identity with a compelling design that clearly accentuates the features of each aircraft, allowing it to elegantly stand out in the sky and on the runway."
