A number of flights bound for Toronto Pearson were delayed Friday night due to what the airport calls an, "airfield lighting issue."
Some flights were diverted as well.
The airport is encouraging anyone heading to Pearson to check their flight's status before leaving.
According to a GTAA spokesperson, there was a fire reported in a hangar around 7 p.m. and the electricity in the area was shut off as a precaution. That affected some airfield lights.
The fire was described as minor.
