Ontario reported another spike in new COVID-19 cases Saturday with 169, the highest total since the start
of July.
Peel Region continued to be the current hot spot with 46 cases, Toronto had 42 and York Region 19.
Nearly 29,000 tests were conducted.
No new virus related deaths were reported.
106 more cases were resolved.
The resolution rate is just over 90 percent.
There were fewer patients in hospitals(58) but about the same in ICU wards(14) and on ventilators(8).
