Toronto's municipal election is only five months away and if you're interested in running for councillor, there's a deadline to keep in mind.
Application forms for Ward 33 - Don Valley East - are due by Monday, May 14. The ward currently has a vacant seat.
The forms must be filed with the City Clerk's Office by the end of the business day tomorrow, and the forms must be signed in-person.
A list of candidates will be posted online on Wednesday, while City Council will meet to consider applications and make a decision for the appointment on Tuesday, May 22. That's when applicants are allowed to address the Council.
November 30 marks the end of the current term of City Council.
