Toronto Police have made an arrest in a downtown Toronto shooting last week.
On Monday August 5th, at around 4:15 a.m., two men were shot in their vehicle as it sat parked on Lombard Street near Church.
The suspect pulled up in a vehicle and began firing at the pair of occupants.
He eventually fled the scene on foot.
On Friday, members of 51 Division Major Crime Unit ,executed a search warrant for a home in the area of Parliament Street and Gerrard West and arrested a 19-year-old Toronto man with multiple offences.
A loaded firearm was alleged to have been seized at the home.
Among the many charges, Malieck Mohamed faces two counts of Attempted Murder.
Mohamed appeared in court Saturday morning.
