Police in Peel Region have a man in custody, in connection with a disturbing case of alleged sexual assault.
The incident allegedly happeend early Saturday morning, in the area of Rathburn and Dixie.
A young girl, who has been described as being under the age of 13, woke up in her bedroom, to find a man standing there.
Police say he sexually assaulted her and took off.
Thanks to help from the public, police have arrested and charged 35-year-old Marcin Gozdzik with one count each of sexual assault, sexual interference and break and enter.
Police say the man is believed to be from the neighbourhood, but it's still unclear if he knew the family.
