Toronto Police have arrested a suspect in connection to a hit-and-run incident near the fashion district last weekend.
The incident occurred near College Street and Spadina Avenue last Sunday morning just before 2 a.m. when a 21-year-old male pedestrian, waiting inside a TTC streetcar shelter, was hit by an SUV that then sped off.
The black SUV was found a few days later on Ulster Street in Little Italy.
The victim of the hit and run was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition.
Police have charged 26-year-old Julian Clarke of Toronto with Dangerous Driving Cause Bodily Harm and leaving the Scene of an Accident Causing Bodily Harm.
He was scheduled to appear in court Friday morning.
Investigators are interested in speaking to anyone who may have information about his whereabouts on Sunday, April 14th, 2019, the date of the collision.
