The Ashbridge's Bay Victoria Day Fireworks will take place on Monday, May 21, 2018, at 10 p.m. The fireworks display will last approximately 14 minutes, and can be seen on the Boardwalk from Coxwell Avenue to Victoria Park Avenue.
Approximately 30,000 people are expected to attend this event.
Due to the large crowds, drivers can expect major traffic delays and limited parking in the area. In past years, heavy congestion has resulted in numerous road closures in the area, including Lake Shore Boulevard East.
Parking Enforcement Officers will be patrolling the area, issuing tickets and towing vehicles that are illegally parked.
It is recommended that spectators use public transit to attend this event. The TTC will be providing additional bus service to accommodate crowds.
As a reminder to those attending the Ashbridge's Bay Victoria Day Fireworks, setting off personal fireworks in a public park is dangerous and unlawful. Fireworks brought into the area by attendees will be seized by police. Police will also be patrolling and enforcing city by-laws, including the Liquor Licence Act.
