If your car insurance is up for renewal you won't be happy to hear this.
A new report from LowestRates.ca says premiums have gone up yet again.
The price in Ontario, for the second quarter of the year, was up 2.93% over the first quarter.
It was also up 0.67% over this time last year.
It appears women are bearing the brunt of the increase, paying 2.5 percent more over last year. Men are paying slightly less.
LowestRates.ca is a rate comparison website.
It says rates go up when insurers' costs increase.
In a news release the website says, "there are several trends right now that may contribute to these increases, including a higher number of distracted driving accidents, the rising costs of new vehicle repairs and fraud."
