The Toronto Blue Jays are hosting the American League Wildcard Playoff game against the Baltimore Orioles at the Rogers Centre tonight.
Nearly 50,000 people are expected to head to the dome to watch the game.
The following road closures will be in effect at the end of the game to assist pedestrians and motorists leaving the area:
- Blue Jays Way will have a partial road closure, for southbound traffic, from Front Street West to Navy Wharf
- Bremner Boulevard will have a partial road closure, for eastbound traffic, from Spadina Avenue to Rees Street
- Bremner Boulevard will have a full road closure, for eastbound traffic, from Rees Street to Lower Simcoe Street
- Bremner Boulevard will have a full road closure, for westbound traffic, from Lower Simcoe Street to Navy Wharf
Toronto police are suggesting if you must get around downtown use public transit, car pool or just avoid the area all together.
