The discovery was made just as parents would be taking their kids to school.
It was just before 8:30, when a body was found outside of a public school near 16th Avenue and Yonge in Richmond Hill.
Police don't have much information about the body, only to say that foul play is not suspected, and there doesn't appear to be anything criminal at play.
The Coroner is on scene, to determine the identity of the person, and the cause of death.
But this could very well be a suicide.
While nothing has been confirmed, York Regional Police say they were investigating a missing persons case last night, looking for a 16-year-old boy.
The teen was last seen in the area last night.
Officers couldn't say who found the body this morning.
